Pentagon Banned Google...

|

Google Inc. has been banned by the Pentagon because of the pictures it publishes to the internet. Those controversial images have been a threat to U.S. military bases. The Pentagon then had requested Google to remove selected images that can be a risk to the bases.

According to Larry Yu the spokesman of Google that they were contacted by the military for the request of removing some images they have posted and with the response for their request they then immediately accommodated it.

The images worry the Pentagon because of the views of the bases including its security that are established in the bases. Some of the security measures are also shown in the images. The Defense Department is still studying how many images are available. And for this they banned Google teams from taking video images on bases.

Google Maps feature ground level, 360 degree views of streets in 30 U.S. cities. In this, Google Maps, surfers are then able to drive down a street virtually using the mouse to adjust the views of the scenery. This feature has become popular especially to those people who are in trip to an unfamiliar place. But, this also lead to be a privacy invasion of the people captured in the images and now a threat to the U.S. military.

But Google then disputes that the only images captures are those images that are only visible from the public roads. And with this Google draw criticism from countries that they provide sensitive images, such as military bases that are potential targets of terror attacks.

Yahoo! Rejects the Bid

|

Microsoft bids to buy the stock of Yahoo due to the overpowering search engine, Google. Microsoft bid for originally $44.6 billion or $31 per share then drop to $40 billion or $28.91 per share due the drop in Microsoft's market value. Just a week after the bid Yahoo's board of directors venerable rejected it.

Stock market gives Yahoo the advantage these past days, it increase its share as high as $29 per share. So, all of a sudden Microsoft's bid does not look so interesting at all.  Yahoo thinks that the price is too low to compensate Yahoo's wide audience and all its investments.

The Board of Yahoo then carefully evaluated the said bid. They were thinking that Microsoft underestimates Yahoo as a whole. But Microsoft's advisers are still working the bid out and carefully studying how much more the bid needs to increase for the negotiation with Yahoo's Board.

As this bid goes farther, matters have been complicated because of both parties' decisions.

Analysts wondered if both parties are aware that their merging is no logic at all because Yahoo and Microsoft are having totally different image. should they both decided to fuse, it will take a long time for them to beat Google's overpowering search engine. So, why go this far?

Google Indexing Delay

|

Articles posted on Blogspot, Wordpress and other blog hosts may be delayed or may not be indexed by Google. Such websites are not guaranteed to be indexed right away because Google is constantly checking its content and links. If you try to observe and post latest articles on DiggItLive, these are not indexed in that instant, unlike before; Google will index the latest articles from DiggItLive without any delay.

Blog authors have nothing to worry about it, in fact, Blogspot or Wordpress websites are still displayed in Google's search engine results. Just follow the rules and regulations in order to avoid such problems like being banned. Relevancy is the key here. Prevent doing any unethical manner such as violating the Terms and Condition of a search engine or black hat. Usually, search engine optimization techniques break search engine rules and regulations. Techniques like that unethically present content in a different visual or non-visual way to search engine spiders and search engine users, so that their website become visible and increase their website traffic.

Though, these techniques actually do work out, but momentarily. Their websites will end up getting higher search rankings but later will get banned for such illegal practices. That is the reason why Google index new articles in a delay for they have to check its content whether it violates the rules and regulations or not. Avoid taking risks because it is not worth it. Use professional search engine optimization techniques to get your site ranked higher, and stay away from anything that even looks like black hat or illegal.

Google: The King

|

Google is the most prominent with internet search these days. So, Microsoft bid to buy Yahoo for $44.6 billion. Some analyst says that even the two complex companies fuse together Google will still have its throne. Bringing two different companies together is a very big challenge. Microsoft is seen with an image as business while Yahoo on the other side is the cutting edge and creative image. These two companies are not enough to knock out the tremendous momentum of Google.

According to statistics Google has a share of 60% to the whole internet search compared to 33% share of both companies, Microsoft and Yahoo. Analyst says that the two companies, Microsoft and Yahoo, should not just build a partnership but should be married because alone they will never beat Google. They think the deal is no logic itself.

"You can't compete with something like Google but you can hold it off"-- so thinks like Microsoft thinks this way. That's why they decided to fuse in with Yahoo. But analysts think that Yahoo jobs are most threatened. In Europe Community, analysts says that Yahoo will surely be down if the binding will takes place because European hates anything that strengthens Microsoft but are concerned over anything that strengthens Google.

Google is clearly the leader in this regard. According to studies people start their day on the web by going to Google neither Yahoo nor Microsoft. The very significant people tend to switch to Google because they offer software and services that are important.

Outside of internet search aspects though, Google hasn't been nearly as dominant. Its web mail is still beta and has not been the mail powerhouse which some expected. Microsoft and Yahoo however, have done much better.

Thinks like Google will still have its throne in terms of internet search.
